The 8th Zigong Dinosaur International Lantern Festival started from February 1 to March 10 in 2002. Lasted 38 days and received 600,000 foreign visitors. The lantern sets “Century holy lantern,” “Zodiac fireworks,” success join in the “Century Guinness.”

飞彩流金, 水上灯韵. The fallen colours and flowing golden light.

灯因水溢彩, 水以灯流光. Owing to water, lanterns overfolw the lustre and water flashes for lanterns.

瑶池碧海、云波烟涛、彩泉飞珠、激光夜照; Taking a green pool as sea, with the cloudy waves, water pearls and razer as night background.

群龙戏水、鱼游凤舞、仙女翩翩、仙乐阵阵. The soaring dragon, ancing pheonixes and celestial maidens as well as swimming fishes are lightly moving with relevant music.

此景只应天上有,倏然一夜在人间. It seems that the Heaven scene falls on the earth in one night.

The 7th Dinosaur International Lantern Festival 2001 was lasted 46days, from the January 18 2001 to the March 4 2001. This year Zigong received a total of 250,000 tourists, and exhibiting a total of 69 lantern complexs, 1000 crafts lanterns and 2500 red traditional lanterns.

I’m a craftsmen of Chinese Lantern Festival, I have saw various lanterns, now few lanterns can move my heart , ‘Where is the most beautiful lantern? ‘ I think it does not exist. But a lantern complex in Zigong Lantern Festival this year is too beautiful, after I saw it, ‘Yes, the most beautiful lantern must is it‘ I think. I’m so excited that it was long before he calmed down.

The most beautiful lantern named Oriental Aquarius it is the top 10 lanterns in Chinese Lantern Festival 2010 at Zigong.

A counter-traditional technique is used to make the lantern complex. The huge lotus leaves is exaggeratively shaped and you may feel the world of lantern is so grand. Sixty lotus-leaf-shaped lanterns sorround the lake. The aquarius- shaped lantern at the center of the lake symbolizes luck and peace.

After the 4th Zigong Dinosaur International Lantern Festival 1994. Four years later, the 5th Zigong Dinosaur International Lantern Festival started 21 January to 9 March1998 , lasted 48 days. This year Zigong has received Chinese and foreign guests about 80 million, trade turnover reached 2.39 billion yuan.
