This post recorded the Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival 2007 in Chinatown Singapore, the highlights of this Lantern Festival were the group of the playing Fairy who were in the middle of the road, the new material of Chinese lanterns has been applied, you can find Fairy’s head is made by transparent FRP, it changed the FRP to be a luminescent material.

In 2008, Singapore Chinese Garden reveals a treasure of excitement, fun and entertainment in this year’s upcoming Lantern Fantasy featuring F8 – Hello Kitty Go Races! This Festival made over 2,000 lanterns decorating the venue and all Kitty character lanterns made by hand. Lantern Fantasy 2008 is the biggest cartoon character Lantern Festival show in the world.

Hello kitty is a fictional character which designed by Ikuko Shimizu, produced by the Japanese company Sanrio. She is a very popular and cute cartoon character. Many people not only Children but also the young people, middle-aged, elderly all love her.

In Singapore Chinese Garden, 2004. We planned and produced this kitty Lantern Festival in the Mid-Autumn Festival with Chinese Garden. After 4 years later, it came into the Chinese Garden again, and named Lantern Festival 2008 F8 – Kitty Go Races!

Here has some pictures about Singapore Lantern Festival 2004 – kitty and her friends, you can enjoy them, I think it’s a very good and fancy lantern carnival for kids.

After the 13th Zigong Dinosaur International Lantern Festival 2007, 2008 Summer Olympics held at Beijing this year. For this reason, the 14th Zigong Dinosaur International Lantern Festival 2008 made many lanterns about the symbol of Olympic and mascots of the Olympic Fuwa in the Lantern Festival, these pictures shot in the daytime, you can find the lanterns were not only made in the Zigong colorful lantern park but also in the whole street of the Zigong city in the Lantern Festival.

The 12th Zigong Dinosaur International Lantern Festival start from January 21 2006 to February 20 2006 in Zigong Colorful Lantern park. This year is in Chinese year of dog, you can find that the Lantern displays were shaped around dog or the symbol of dogs.

This Lantern Festival is the most important export item of Zigong, at first it held once every 4 years. For the festival is more and more popular, it not only holds every year,but also hold in many places in China even the world.

The Gundam which is from japanese cartoon is a very popular robots between the anime robots fans.The Lantern Festival is coming, many people have made a fancy lantern for the Lantern Festival 2010 by themself, how does Gundam mix with Chinese lantern look like?

Before the Lantern Festival this year, one fancy lantern fans who was in Taiwan has made a fancy lantern of SD Gundam’s head, this successful experience let him continue to challenge himself to make the biggest SD Gundam Lantern for the Lantern Festival 2010.

So that he designs a blueprint, and start his long and hard work according to this pan, it costs him about more than 3 month time.
