Salt City_Top 10 lanterns in Chinese Lantern Festival 2010

This theme lantern ‘Salt City‘  is the same as ‘First Wall‘ which is the reservation lantern from previous Chinese Lantern Festival 2009 in Zigong

As we know, Zigong produces large quantities of salt, so this theme lantern “Salt City” add a group of lanterns about ‘the 4 steps of producting salt’.

1. digging wells
2. mining brine
3. evaporating brine
4. transportting salt

Salt City_Top 10 lanterns in Chinese Lantern Festival 2010

In the evening exhibition time, some persons will  perform these steps in the scene area of this theme lantern, help you know more about the salt city – Zigong.
